DYFI members had a Red hand catch of Kerala MLA Abdullahkutty who was reported to be hiding in out of reach of Police. Previously Saritha S Nair, the lady involved in Solar Scam had filed a petition and FIR was registered against Abdullakutty on Case of Rape. According to rule and law the police should arrest irrespective of the VIP position.
Abdullahkutty was at Kannur for Congrecampaign in an Hotel when DYFI Com. found him. Being a member of rulling party even after the Red hand catch the Police refused to arrest Mr.Abdullahkutty. Later DYFI Activists including the District leaders of DYFI Kannur were arrested and beaten by the police.
The Congress Leaders spoke the political explanations but DYFI Activists demanded the legal justice that even after Police and People saw Abdullahkutty he was not arrested.
It is evident that Home Ministry for Kerala State is Corrupt and following unlawfull behaviour currently.
