BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF Martyr. BHAGAT SING

Aim of life : “The aim of life is no more to control the mind, but to develop it harmoniously; not to achieve salvation here after, but to make the best use of it here below; and not to realise truth, beauty and good only in contemplation, but also in the actual experience of daily life; social progress depends not upon the ennoblement of the few but on the enrichment of democracy; universal brotherhood can be achieved only when there is an equality of opportunity - of opportunity in the social, political and individual life.”

It was in 28th September 1907, when the Indian face of Revolution and Socialism was born in Punjab. His childhood was in midst of newly emerging freedom struggle and Nationalism among people in punjab. He was inspired towards the freedom struggle with a bottle in which he filled the blood of his grand parents who were killed in the massacre of Jalianwala Bhag. From the childhood time he had great opposition and thoughts of Independence and Revolution. In his young age he left his house with a famous written letter of 20th century "meri dulhan azaadi hey" it depicted that "freedom is his bride". He was hanged to death at the young age of 23 with Rajguru and Sukhdev who were his collegues of Revolution.  His birth and the contexts that happened in that era is most youthfull time ever in INDIAN History . He was well educated and practical minded. In midst of Revolutionary  thoughts he always gave a comparison to that is happening to other forms of freedom struggle. Today this 23 year old Bhagat Sing lives in midst of us in the form of many Communists and Socialist youth organizations and people.
